We automatically generate tickets and internal alerts about Storm Center Outage Maps failing to process files when our monitors identify the following conditions:
- The last-updated time / date exceeds a threshold (typically 2x the typical update frequency)
- Our monitors have identified that our server has received outage files that are failing to process
If you receive this alert, we would appreciate if you assist us in our investigation by checking the following:
- Outage files are formatted correctly
- Outage files are named correctly (our servers use case-sensitive filesystems)
If you do identify data or file naming issues from your end, we appreciate it if you let us know by responding to this ticket.
